Via Learning Studio

At Via Seating, we are dedicated to continuous improvement and learning as much as we can to ensure what we are doing is meeting the challenges we all face in a very dynamic, challenging market.  Via Learning Studio offers Continuing Education Courses (CEUs) that are pre-approved by the IDCEC, AIA, and GBCI for customers, designers, and industry professionals. These classes are designed to empower attendees with knowledge to improve their experiences in work and collaborative environments.

Sharing What We Know

Via engages directly with customers who are facing challenges head on and looking for solutions to meet those challenges.  This interaction has driven Via to be at the forefront of developing new technology and innovation as it relates to seating.   Based on this experience, Via wants to share exclusive content with two significant topics that are highly relevant right now focused on Health & Wellness and Public Safety – see full detail below.

BIFMA CEUs

Each accredited CEU course is unique and leverages BIFMA’s significant knowledge base. Courses will demonstrate the positive contribution of furniture products on the built environment specifically in areas of safety, performance, sustainability, and wellness. Each is accredited for 1.0-hour education unit by: AIA (HSW), IDCEC (HSW) and GBCI for maintaining LEEP AP, WELL AP. These CEUs are also approved toward the CoreNet Global QPCR Designation.

CEU 3: LEVEL 2019: Sustainability Certification and Its Role in The Selection of Furniture

This continuing education course covers BIFMA’s e3 Furniture Sustainability Standard, which is the basis for LEVEL certification. The content defines what LEVEL measures, how it works, and how it goes above and beyond other rating systems for addressing furniture’s ecological, social, and wellness impacts. Participants will understand how to find LEVEL certified products and easily include them in the furniture selection process at no added cost to those who procure the product. You will understand how to use the public LEVEL product registry to compare products and how this tool streamlines the specifying and procurement process.

Nora, Via Seating’s CCO & Head of Sales, is also a certified ergonomist who is passionate about health and wellness in the workplace. Nora often says that she has never sold a chair in her liferather she has educated customers and provided them with the information they needed to make the best decision for themselves and their company. Through Via Learning Studio, Nora is able to share her passion for ergonomics and wellness topics and engage with participants in a different way. You will walk away from one of Nora’s presentations knowing what you can do in your own life to improve your productivity and mindfulness as it relates to your work time. She will also equip you to advise others on how to do the same.

Additionally she is the Nevada State Representative for Dovetail, an organization whose mission is to promote the Furniture Industry to young professionals looking for opportunities to grow and succeed in their careers.
