The 48 Hour Quick-Ship Company
All VIA products will be manufactured and made ready for shipment
within 48 hours of receipt of your purchase order. This 48 hour
manufacturing time frame applies to orders up to 20 chairs (see
Lead Time Exceptions below*). For orders over 20 chairs, please
allow an additional 48 hours to manufacture for every 20 chairs
on the order (e.g.:100 chairs will take 10 business days to manufacture).
For same day order entry, orders must be received at VIA before
12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (9:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time).
Orders received after 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (9:00 a.m.
Pacific Standard Time) will be entered the following business day.
In the event an item is out of stock, the missing item will be back
ordered and shipped as quickly as possible. Upon request from the
purchaser, the balance of the order (non-back ordered items) may
be manufactured, shipped and invoiced separately from the back ordered
items. VIA makes no guarantees on our Quick-Ship items but will
make every effort to fill our orders completely and as quickly as
possible. Custom items do not qualify for our 48 Hour Quick-Ship
manufacturing, but can usually be shipped within four weeks. VIA
is not liable for delay in our manufacturing processes due to delays
from our sources of supply, strikes, lockouts or other labor difficulties,
transportation difficulties, accidents, fire, war, riot, non-compliance
with government regulations, acts of God or any other causes of
delay.
Lead Time Exceptions*
Montego: Please calculate 48 hours for every 5 seat sections in
any combination. (e.g.: 5 single units or a 3-seat sofa and a 2-seat
love seat, etc.).
Custom Stain: Please allow four (4) days for every 20 chairs with
custom wood stain.
Custom products do not qualify for the 48 Hour manufacturing time
frame. Lead times on custom products are quoted on a case-by-case
basis.
For products requiring TB-133 please calculate 3 days of manufacturing
time for every 20 chairs on your order.
Prices
The published prices herein are list prices and include freight
(FOB destination) within the 48 contiguous United States. Zonal
restrictions apply to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and Canada.
The best method of shipping is determined by VIA. All packaging
and crating (when required) is included. Prices subject to change
without notice, prior to order confirmation. Net prices are subject
to trade discount for qualified purchasers. There will be an additional
5% (of the net order) surcharge on all orders delivered to a residence.
Terms
VIA’s terms are Net 30 Days. Past due accounts are subject
to a monthly service charge of 1.5% (18% APR).
Credit
Credit should be established in advance of placing an order with
VIA to allow time for credit verification. A credit limit may be
established upon acceptance of satisfactory references. In order
to avoid delays with order entry, first time orders should be accompanied
by a 50% deposit, with balance due upon receipt of shipment if an
open account has not been established by time of shipping. If you
do not have a preprinted net of credit references a blank credit
application may be requested by calling our Customer Service department.
Changes & Cancellations
Whenever possible, VIA will accept reasonable changes to orders
with these conditions:
1. The request is received in time to be modified, (before the fabric
is cut).
2. The changes may incur some additional charges (i.e: if the change
is made after the fabric is cut).
3. COM and COL orders cannot be changed or cancelled without restocking
charges.
Expedited Freight, UPS Overnight, Second and Third Day Delivery
Shipping
For an additional charge, expedited delivery services are available.
Please call our Customer Service department for an expedited shipping
quote.
Freight Claims
All damage claims should be filed with the responsible freight carrier
within 10 days of receiving merchandise. Merchandise is sold FOB
delivered, with ownership transferring to the purchaser FOB Reno
factory. All VIA products are carefully inspected and securely packed
prior to leaving our facility. The customer accepts responsibility
for damage including concealed damage. Before accepting a shipment
from the carrier, check for visible damage. Describe the visible
damage on the freight carrier’s bill of lading. If damage
is concealed, contact the carrier’s agent without delay requesting
inspection. If this inspection is not obtainable, describe the damage
in writing, giving the date the damaged product was received and
file this claim with VIA.
Returns
Returns will not be accepted without prior consent from VIA. All
returns must have an RGA# (Returned Goods Authorization Number)
assigned by VIA. Authorized returns are subject to a 25% restocking
charge depending on the reason for the return. Shipping costs for
returned merchandise must be pre-approved by VIA. VIA will not be
responsible for any additional charges not pre-approved by VIA Customer
Service.
