New Product Introductions – NeoCon® 2004

New Sienna Lounge/Lobby Seating Series
Availability: End of August

This new design is a modular system of seating that can be used in similar configurations to the Montego. The added value to this series is that, being made up of individual components, it can be developed into all types of lobby, waiting room, library, and university seating configurations.

New Palmer Side Chair
Availability: Mid to late October

This new side chair design introduced to NeoCon® is a prototype, and will be available on the Palmer series. The metal frame will also be used on the Dyce, Brisbane and several of the other series down the road.
The new Palmer side chair completes the Palmer series. See below for new arm options for Palmer – as shown at NeoCon®

New Essex Executive Series
Availability: Currently available with the current Bergen arm offerings. It will be available with the new 80/90arms by mid-September.

New Executive, mid management, conference, and side chair. Based on the Bergen, this is a new version with softer seating and wider design appeal than the Bergen. It shares all the arms the Oslo/Bergen currently uses, along with the new 80/90 series arms. It also currently uses the new control as the Oslo/Bergen and adjust seat depth by manually moving the control to the new hole position.
It will be fitted with the new seat-slider as soon as it is available. The back adjustment is done by the original cable/lever adjuster and has a dual bar back upright. Back adjustment will be done this way for both Essex and Bergen for at least the next 2 years.

New Oslo / Bergen / Essex Seat Slider For High Backs
Availability: Early September

A prototype was completed just in time for NeoCon® to show that we have an upcoming solution to the seat slider issue. It will effect all high back versions of these series. We are now able to extend the seat with the addition of a set of "T"-nuts which allow the seat to be moved forward 1 inch from the normal position.

It is important that you make your customers aware that we require that you make a clear notation on the purchase order so that we at the factory can see if you require this specific modification.
Remember the interim solution is to remove the 4 screws from the control and move the seat manually to the new forward position. Once tooling is completed this will become a standard part of the control on all orders.

New Adjustable Arm Options for the Brisbane / Dyce / Linate / Tessera / Gatwick / Satolis / Heathrow / Osl/Bergen / Essex / Dillon and Devan.

Availability: End of September

This new forward tilting adjustable height (4") arm will use the PVC arm cap as a standard and have the Gel version cap as an option. It will be available on all these series.

New ‘80/90’ Arms
Availability: Mid September

These new arms are standard on the new Essex series, and available on many other models including the Dyce. They both share a number of different mounting brackets that allow them to be attached to all of VIA seating series, including task 80 arm. This is the PU version of the new arm. It has the brackets to allow it to fit on all the VIA chairs. The 90 arm basically the same shape, but this arm is only available in the upholstered version.

New Swopper Backrest
Available: End October

Can be fit to any existing unit – only available with Maple finish and Anthracite powder coat on frame. Is simply used to relax for an extended call or read – not a functional back support in the conventional sense.
